Based in North Carolina, Lee's Refinery is a mission driven business currently focusing on world domina-, furthering the ultimate goal: To prioritize and encourage the circulation of existing material(s).
Established in 2022, Lee's Refinery began within purpose and community, factors that remain pertinent to our current navigation. Driven by that originating purpose, Lee's Refinery strives to establish a more circular economy through participation, encouragement, and accessibility. Currently we mostly achieve this through sustainably distributing various secondhand goods, though we're destined to expand.
We source directly from privately owned archives and donations received from close connections (Lee's Refinery does not currently accept donations from the general public) allowing us flexibility to closely curate a diverse experience. Inventory is stored in house meaning Shipping and Handling times remain minimal and all packages are carefully crafted with a majority of easily recyclable materials.
Although Lee's Refinery is primarily operated online and offers nation wide shipping; we've attended physical sale events in North Carolina and Virginia. Embedding ourselves within local communities has always felt closely aligned with our initial mission and is something we will continue to explore.

All items go thru the appropriate disinfection method before proceeding further. Inspections themselves occur throughout our process.

A process within itself, onboarding consists of photographing, measuring, notating, and everything else necessary to get that item listed. As well as keeping relevant details on file to optimize customer experience and operation.

Once an order is placed the item goes thru final inspection and is then folded, packaged carefully, and fitted with a handwritten note (and any other goodies we may include ;). After that we package items appropriately for shipping.
